Death: The Ultimate Motivator

Nafisa Yeasmin

Death is the destination we all share, no-one has ever escaped it.

– Steve Jobs.

None of us can deny the fact that we are not anxious about death fear. But I believe ‘Death the ultimate truth and the greatest motivator of ones life'.

Every living creature wants to keep his/her foot prints as their offspring. Even a small bird fights hard to save her eggs. The idea of the successor has come from the Death Anxiety.

We have very less time and many things to do. We never know who’s turns is next.

What motivate us to save money?? What motivate us to do Life Insurance? What motivate us to educate our next generation? What motivate us to plan a safe shelter for our near and dear ones?

Answer is one and that is Death!

We all want to be immortal but science is yet to reach that level of super success. So what we want ? We want to keep our foot print.

That’s the ultimate motivator. We want people remember us even after our death. Human alive in their work after death.

If we work for our family, our family reminiscence us. Now, its up to us how big would be our family. If we work for an organization or any institute that would be our family, if we work and support for the people around us that would be our family. The concept is as wide our working circle, the member of our family increase.

What the difference between a bird or deer or any animals. They eat to survive and give birth the successor, that’s the normal natural procedure, then what’s the difference between animals and us if we are unable or not willing to contribute to the society.

Live life as today is the last day of your life. Encourage your personal joy! Love yourself. Do  whatever you love! It’s needless to get any acceleration. Self-love is important. Come out from every days monotonous life. You have certain responsibilities and at the same time your family member has to share that with you.

Remember, one life – lots of work left to do; how much you will do is your choice as no one can escape.
